Payments

Stripe rollout order

Only the revenue projects get Stripe. Start with the ones closest to done so the first checkout is live fastest, and leave physical fulfillment on Shopify.

Payments cannot be enabled from this hub. Each project must be opened on its own — the links below go straight to the right editor.

The order

Expand a project for its own step-by-step enablement checklist. Sign in and progress is saved to your account, so it follows you across browsers and devices.

  1. Before you start

    Enable payments

    Products & checkout

    Test & go live

Every project, same six steps

Step 1

Open the project's own chat

Payments are enabled per project. Each build needs its own session — nothing can be switched on for all ten at once.

Step 2

Confirm the plan and backend

Payments require a Pro plan. If the project stores orders, subscriptions or entitlements, Lovable Cloud must be enabled there first.

Step 3

Enable payments

Ask the agent in that project to enable Stripe payments. A test environment is created immediately; live payments need account verification.

Step 4

Recreate the catalog

Products and prices do not carry over between projects or providers. Each one gets its own products, prices and tax codes.

Step 5

Wire checkout and the webhook

Connect the buy buttons to a checkout session and handle the webhook so purchases actually grant access or create an order.

Step 6

Publish and test end to end

Run a test purchase on the published URL before switching to live mode.

Stay on Shopify

Physical goods, inventory and shipping belong on Shopify, not Stripe checkout.
